Thornton Legal have been instructed by one of the North West's most successful PI Firms to assist them in the recruitment of a Costs Negotiator.
The firm is willing to offer a salary of around £26,000 plus an incentivised bonus scheme based on recovery and overtime ( x 1.5 per hour)
This role is that of a costs negotiator. It is not a drafting role. We are looking to speak to candidates who have a good costs knowledge and negotiating experience (need to be fully versed with the MOJ portal, arguments in respect of allocation to track, the fixed costs regime).
To be considered for this role you will have the following experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes;
An experienced costs lawyer/draftsman/negotiator.
* At least 2 years' experience in PI based Costs Negotiation (RTA's)
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
* Experienced and proficient in the use of case management systems
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and under own initiative
